OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Embody Studio, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to movement. Each session is a personalized private Pilates experience designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and connect with your body in a whole new way.
Meet the Founder
Emma Newirth
Born and raised in Los Angeles, movement and wellness have always been a big part of my life. As a former rower, I developed a deep appreciation for strength, discipline, and the mind body connection, something that ultimately led me to Pilates.
In 2022, I completed my certification at Pilates Rox in Pacific Palisades in the Pilates Rox Method, where I went through several months of intensive training in both private and group instruction. I’m trained across all apparatus, including reformer, tower, Cadillac, chair, and barrel. I continued working at Pilates Rox through early 2025 before opening Embody Studio in August 2025.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from teenagers to those in their 80s. I’ve had experience working with both injury free bodies and those navigating injuries, athletes looking to improve performance, clients with various ailments, as well as those in pre and post natal stages. This range has really shaped how I teach. No two bodies are the same, and no two sessions should be either.
Pilates has transformed not just my strength, but the way I move through everyday life. It’s improved my posture, body awareness, and overall functionality, and to me, that’s where its real value is. It’s not just about what happens during a session, but how it carries into everything you do.
I started Embody Studio to create a space that feels personal, welcoming, and supportive, whether you’re just starting your Pilates journey or looking to deepen it. Each session is designed to meet you where you are, whether that means building strength, moving out of pain, increasing mobility, or simply getting a really good workout.
At the core of it all, I believe Pilates is for every body. Embody Studio is a space designed with intention, where the goal is simple: to help you feel stronger, more connected, and more confident in your body.
